Interesting item on Bloomberg tv last night ...showing Amazons biggiest warehouse in Arizona with 1,2 million sq feet , one of 4 in that USA state and 40 in the USA and another 40 warehouses around the world.... Another item interviewed another business person saying that 1 in 10 Dollars is spent on line not including cars etc. People now are getting to the habit of going to a store seeing the goods and checking on line for the cheapest price in front of the sales person... On their phones ... They are getting very buying savy with instant lowest price locations availability in their hand. Banks are being told to lend more money to businesses, but how does that help them get people through their doors if more are ordering online.... Seems to be a slow monthly loss of shop customers around the uk if we follow the USA ... And the obvious result of continued shop closures.. Now that the ball getting up speed , it will be hard if at all possible to stop the tide of future shop closures .... You just cannot have millions of extra sales a year online without affecting the high streets in some way.... How times are changing ... The pressure must be really hard for so many shops...and praying for a good Xmas ... Hard to call for today ... Possible up day.....as greek deal announced and Dow futures are up.... At the present ... Could well change by the time USA opens...
