RBS will hopefully announce on Friday it is leaving aps, but that won't be until September-ish. Floatation of direct line will be another milestone to the recovery. Not sure if the Arabs are still interested in taking a holding but that is also a good sign if they are, plus - Hester has intimated rbs will start offloading shares soon, at a loss to other potential ii's.
LIBOR will take years for lawsuits, then who ever challenges the bank has to prove that it effected them.
But, short term the sp will be going through another few rounds with Mike Tyson. It will get knocked down, but will keep getting back up, dust it's self off then, wham....big Mike will be there again, wash rinse and repeat, short term.
