In times past recoveries have been pretty quick, no reason to think otherwise this time. Govt,, businesses, people, are all fed up with the past three years and minds are focussing on moving forward. As a nation we are well capable of getting to grips. More to the point, RBS is a special case and is being managed for the earliest possible buy-back. That means making profit though not necessarily growth. I can easily believe 504 in 18 months, if the 504 and buy-back is achieved in that timescale then who can guess what may happen to the SP after that?
