A lot of heavy chat on here today! One or two observations. The change in the £ over the past twenty years or more has been huge and may well be repeated over the next twenty but will it make any real difference? House, petrol, and food prices will keep pace, wages will almost, and some other elements will run ahead, but we will all adapt to how things are. Some will have more than others and life will go on much the same as ever. I don't see RBS being split, rather I think the recovery will be such that the Govt will take its profit and ensure legislation that prevents a repeat of the bailout circumstances. Hopefully we will see a higher level of integrity in politics, banking, and business in general. This will be necessary as technology reaches unbelievably fantastic heights with all kinds of new products, controls, and manufacturing capabilities. Get on the merry-go-round, its going to be a fun ride!
