I'm sure there will be opportunities , just be careful.....A lot of them are considered essential but comparatively small components in smart phones , computers etc. and a number of them, specifically tantalum , have important medical uses as well .China's been stockpiling them for a while and one of the big Australian mine is currently mothballed waiting for prices to rise which it no doubt will.Strangely enough many of them aren't all that scarce but they're scattered so it's not commercially viable to mine them.Given that at the moment they're regarded as essential and in short supply you'll not be surprised to learn that a lot of research is going into developing cheaper and more sustainable alternatives with mixed results at the moment. Recycling technologies are also starting to play a bigger role in maintaining supplies .
