Good example of a song title....
The point I make is that the past 10 years has changed so much regarding spending power of the public....
3 obvious points that we all know...
1.. Many of the working class can no longer afford what they could 10 years ago.... And more are claiming a benefit.
2.. Many high earners are earning more every year ... And of course many legally are government allowed to gain even further from tax avoidance... Why..? ... No wonder people have little respect for voting .... The government have no moral fibre ... Just self interest in staying power....
3.. The middle classes will bare the brunt of much of what will cost to keep the uk going with such a high debt... They are the main group that pay most tax and claim very little or use tax avoidance schemes..
4.. The massive past yearly immigration influx that governments deemed as a good thing... How many of them are unemployed and claiming benefits which will now be a ball and chain added to British unemployed. The Internet will create a surplus of workers needed... A shame the governments of uk have been so short sighted as to not see this coming and like many issues have little future planing. No new motorway built in the past 20 years only bypasses.. It would create new jobs to replace the A14 with a much needed across the country motorway and another needed north to south motorway.... Building a new railway that is unaffordable to the majority... Speaks volumes of the government thinking and attitued to respecting the spending power of the Woking classes... Fleece them is the reality in practice as many well know... Struggling with ability to pay utility bills a realistic example to so many... The high earners can be looked after from government backed legalities.. As many years have proved.... Sad to se a growing split of human respect all based on an encouraged growing wealth divide
The tide has turned dramatically the past 5 years in public spending power and businesses will suffer accordingly.. Stansted reporting a drop in passengers maybe the start of lack of spending power and government encouraged greed of the past.
Anyway the uk cannot as said servive of increasing the part time working army of workers and reducing the full time. Over time the majority of people will be reliant on benefits.. And the high earners will have to put their hands in their pockets a bit more.... Not government policy old boy ... Must avoid that at all costs...?
If you really think about it the uk has been going downhill for the past 20 years and has increased the past 5 years.. We must move on but the government can not afford to display contempt to the majority in favor of high earners much longer.... The downside of greed is that many have to suffer from it, for a few to get overpaid... You get nothing for nothing in this world... Many learnt that years ago..
Maybe we can start on a better and fairer and caring society ... But one can hop
